The board continued with the SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats), the program introduced previously by Jay Labban. The raw data collected at the previous meeting was grouped and then ranked in order of seen importance. The most important in the 4 areas were: Strengths/community, Weaknesses/ congregation too small, Opportunities/ marketing and Threats/ succession planning. Each of the areas were discussed as well as ideas about what could be done using the information. (See copy of minutes on bulletin board outside minister’s office for more details.)
