 Have your ceremony at Emerson
Simple. Intimate. Elegant. Inviting. The Sanctuary at Emerson is truly the welcoming place to celebrate your wedding.
Open to all, Emerson Church can accommodate any couple wishing to be married. With seating for up to 150 guests, you may hold a wedding ceremony of any scale - small to lavish.
Emerson also offers couples a great deal of flexibilty. You can get married at any time, on any day, and you can either provide your own minister or choose to have your ceremony conducted by Emerson's Rev. Harold W. Beu.
The Sanctuary at Emerson features outstanding acoustics and an exceptional grand piano, which is why we have hosted numerous National Piano Guild concerts and recitals. For the music at your wedding, you can either choose your performers or we can offer you a list of pianists.
Emerson Church provides numerous amenities for your wedding, including a comfortable lounge that is available for the bridal party before and after the ceremony for no extra charge. We also offer a large formal candelabra and a glass table for your unity candle.
Emerson is accessible to all, with an elevator running from the parking lot level to the Sanctuary.
Emerson is the only barn church in Michigan, and has recently been redecorated in the serene colors of nature, offering the perfect backdrop for your wedding ceremony. Please feel free to stop by and discover the charm of having your wedding in this beautiful and historic setting.
