With all the controversies and troubles that beset our world, it is oftentimes difficult to celebrate this holiday season. However, I believe we can find something to celebrate, if we look for it. Service: Advent Sunday - A Time of Quiet Hope
The tradition of Advent tells us that a special event is coming - the birth of Jesus. It was a time of joyousness and yet seriousness, a time of quiet hope. We can take this time to reflect on the meaning of hope for ourselves and for the world. For no matter what our faith as individuals, we can all celebrate our shared humanity and hope for a better world.
